In-home Respite

Living Well with Dementia can provide some in-home respite to support people with dementia to remain in their own home. This respite is designed to match individual needs based on a care plan put together by their health-care clinician in conjunction with the person with dementia and their family. As this is a pilot project, availability of in-home respite is limited and based on a referral by a clinician.

Once-off Respite

Living Well with Dementia has a small budget to support once-off or emergency respite for families who are already referred into the project. Examples of this once-off respite include where the main carer has a health incident themselves or needs to take a short break. Availability of in-home respite is limited and based on a referral by a clinician.
