The Alzheimer Café Donnybrook

The Alzheimer Cafe in Donnybrook, which is one of a number of Alzheimer Cafés in Ireland, is a safe and relaxed place where people with dementia, their families and friends, and health and social care professionals come together for a unique blend of education and support. It is a forum where people can share experiences and talk about dementia. The Alzheimer Café Donnybrook meets on the second Thursday of every month, from 7pm – 9pm, in the Avila Centre, Donnybrook. Blackrock Walking Group

Siel Bleu organises gentle walks in Blackrock Park for people of all ages and abilities. The group meets on a Friday at at 12:30 at St. Andrew’s Parish Hall on Mount Merrion Avenue.

Exercises are included to build strength, flexibility, balance and endurance.
